The SC1500 test cable provides a connection between the ALTS2400 and the NEMA 5-15R (120 V, 15 A) receptacle under test. An integrated circuit internal to the test cable encodes a unique serial number and provides configuration information including maximum voltage and current allowed under test. This information is saved by the ALTS2400 for each test providing complete traceability.

Measurements are made directly from the NEMA 5-15P (hospital grade) end of the cable and provided to the ALTS2400 during high current testing – ensuring you have the most accurate and reliable information possible.
